The markets we cover:

London Stock Exchange (LSE) FTSE Actuaries All-Share Index.

The LSE is one of the most important stock markets in the world and for ease it is broken down in to the following indices:

The FTSE 100 and the FTSE 250 are collectively known as the FTSE 350. The constituents of these indices are determined by the each company’s market capitalisation. The 100 largest companies make up the FTSE 100 and these stocks are commonly known as blue chip stocks, with the remaining stocks making up the FTSE 250. Every quarter each company’s market capitalisation is evaluated and a reshuffle of the FTSE 100 and 250 takes place.

FTSE Small Cap Index:

The Small Cap’ (short for Capitalisation) index is composed of the companies that are not large enough to appear in the FTSE 350 Index. The FTSE Small Cap and FTSE 350 combined can be referred to as the FTSE All-Share.

FTSE Fledgling Index:

This index is for UK listed companies on the main market, which are simply too small to be included in the FTSE All-share.

Alternative Investment Market (AIM):

AIM is the LSE’s international market for smaller growing companies. The market consists of a wide range of companies form household names like Dominos Pizza to very small companies coming straight to the market via initial public offerings (IPO’s). Since its launch in 1995 the AIM has become the world’s leading small-cap market and now boasts 1,060 companies with a combined market
capitalisation of £37bn.

Worldwide Markets:

Through our Contract for Difference (CFD) service we offer clients an execution-only service on the major worldwide markets. We are also preparing to offer an advisory desk for the American markets.
