William Nigel Valentine Weller - Chairman

Nigel Weller began his City career in 1967 gaining a broad range of experience in stock broking and market making. He has held senior positions in Bisgood Bishop, Morgan Stanley and James Capel and was a founder shareholder and managing director of a brokerage, Javelin Securities, and a voting agency business, Manifest Institutional Holdings Limited. He is a member of the Securities Institute and the Institute of Directors. He is an appointed representative of Alfred Henry Corporate Finance Limited and a director of Adorian plc, Beaufort International Group plc, KleenAir Systems International plc and SBS Group plc, all of which are companies whose shares are traded on AIM. He is also a director of a number of Plus Market companies and a director of Falcon Securities Holdings.

Richard James Beese - Executive Director, ASI

Richard is responsible for the Retail Client division and the overseeing of business operations. Particular responsibilities include liaising between front and back office and working with clients to consistently improve the quality and efficiency of our service.

Richard started his financial career with a small private client brokerage in Bristol, becoming an assistant dealing manager as the company relocated to London. He was an intricate part of the growth and success of the company as it transformed itself from a small four-man dealing team to a company comprising of over 75 staff - offering a wide range of products to a client base of over 15,000.

He then became a founding member of Montague Pitman and has been pivotal in the expansion of the business to it's present position as one of the most diverse and comprehensive brokerages in the city.

David James White - Executive Director, BSc Hons, ASI

David is responsible for the logistics side of the company together with the internal systems which are so crucial to the efficiency of the service that Montague Pitman offers investors.

David started his career in the city with a private-client stockbroking firm where he was appointed a Dealing Manager specialising in the small-cap sector. He has diverse knowledge of the markets particularly from the perspectives of economics and accounting - which stems from his background studying International Business Economics at U.W.E.

He is a founding member of Montague Pitman and has helped develop the company's infrastructure to ensure that we meet the high standards that our clients expect.

Alpesh Patel - Non-executive Director, LLB, MA(Oxon), AKC, FRSA

Alpesh Patel is an international bestselling author and a professional investor. His investment seminars have attracted hundreds of investors seeking to learn his skills. His regular invites onto BBC, Bloomberg and CNBC channels are testimony to his high quality commentary and insights on stock market investing. Alpesh is also a board member of TiE-UK, one of the world's largest network of entrepreneur mentoring groups with Fortune 500 C-level executives as members. Alpesh is a founder director of Agile Partners Asset Management, where he runs a hedge fund. He is an International Dealmaker for the Department of Trade & Industry - sourcing private equity deals from India, a Founder Director of TraderMind Ltd - distributing financial content and a Founder Director of Pathburner Ventures Limited which offers investor education to retail and institutional investors.

Stuart Jenkins - Head of Compliance, BscEcon, ASI

Stuart is responsible for ensuring that Montague Pitman meets it's regulatory obligations under the rules of the Financial Services Authority (FSA).

After graduating from Cardiff University, Stuart started his career as an advisory stockbroker. He then moved in to the compliance side of the industry which, in his previous position, culminated in him taking responsibility for the day-to-day compliance oversight of an advisory dealing floor. He joined Montague Pitman soon after it's inception and has concentrated on ensuring that the company reaches, and exceeds, the standards expected of it by the FSA.

Steven Mayne - Head of Research and Derivatives, BSC Hons, ASI

Steven, working closely with Alpesh, is responsible for equity strategies for Montague Pitman diverse client base, specialising in the short to medium term trading, placing great emphasis on technical analysis, money management and risk reward profiles. Apart from over seeing all day to day FTSE 350 trading he also writes all Montague Pitman morning reports and co-writes our Monthly overview.

His trading strategies and market opinions are in great demand - he is frequently seen on CNBC and is also an expert contributor to the Investors Chronicle. Steven is a seasoned public speaker and not only presents Montague Pitman's trading seminars but has also spoken at the IX show and has been asked to present at the forthcoming shows.
